Description
This gadget is for making prize bubbles (similar to those you see in Little Big Planet). You can place a unique item (that is not currently in the Dreamiverse for use) in the bubble to gift to the player so they can use it in their own creations.
Example Tutorial (adapted from Media Molecule)
- Stamp a prize bubble
- Choose an object from your collection for the item slot
- Disable “use built in collection sound”
- Find a sound effect from the sounds menu and stamp it
- Connect just collected on the prize bubble to the power port of the sound effect.
- Set sound effect to play once.
- Stamp a puppet
- Enter test mode
- Posess puppet
- Pick up the prize bubble

- Item
Click on this and then select an item from your library of previously saved objects in “My Creations”. - Visible
Toggles whether the prize bubble is visible or not. - Use Built-in Collection sound
This toggles the in-built collection sound effect. Deactivate if you want to add your own effects. - Collectable by Imp
Toggle whether the player can collect the prize by grabbing it with an imp tip. - Collectable by Possessed
Toggle whether the player can collect the prize by colliding with it in a possessed object or puppet. - Force Collect
Send a signal to this input to “force” the player to collect the prize, no matter where the prize bubble is. You can trigger this with any logic where it makes sense to do so, such as at the completion of a gold-medal-winning time in a race. - Just Collected
This sends a signal to say the prize has been collected. You might use this to play a custom effect for example. - Power
This is where you turn the gadget on/off.
Lex Tips
There is very little point in having items in prize bubbles that are freely available in the Dreamiverse, so be careful when you make and share objects as you cannot remove a prop from public share once you have launched it.
